Standing Together to Help and Heal

Uplift Drug-Free Coalitions, formerly Brevard Prevention Coalition, unites caring individuals throughout Florida’s Space Coast and Central Florida in the fight to reduce the personal and social damage caused by addiction and substance misuse. At the same time, as a non-profit organization, we work to reduce the stigma associated with substance use disorders by offering education, healthy activities, resources for recovery, and hope for affected individuals and their loved ones.

Helping Kids and Families Prevent Addiction, Overdoses and Heartache

Opioids and other addictive substances seriously threaten lives and relationships, with many cases of substance misuse beginning in childhood. We aim to stop that process before it can start. UPLIFT Drug Free Coalitions seeks to empower all community members, youths and adults, to make healthier and more fulfilling choices early in life. We equip them with the tools to identify the risks of underage drinking and drug misuse.

UPLIFT Drug Free Coalitions understands that the impact of substance misuse reaches beyond the individual struggling with addiction. We help concerned parents and loved ones by connecting them with the necessary knowledge and support. Through these ongoing efforts, we hope to improve our community’s mental, physical, and emotional health.

We humbly accept any donations, made once or monthly, toward critically important efforts to save our children and their families. Contributions, such as hosting an event or fundraiser, are welcomed and greatly appreciated. You may even be moved to make a donation in memory of someone you have lost. Meet With Us

Youth and Student Groups

We are leading the charge against the opioid crisis on the Space Coast. We advocate for the best use of public funding designated for our region to combat substance misuse. Furthermore, we work with local municipalities to support the effective implementation of our county’s opioid abatement plan and advocate for local practices to stay consistent with a recovery-oriented system of care.

Our coalition collaborates with several student groups from schools in Brevard County, FL. We also partner with existing youth groups that promote substance-free lives for them and their peers. These are efforts by youths and for youths.
