Why The Change?
Since 2007 as a committee, and then 2018 as an organization, Brevard Prevention Coalition has worked to prevent substance abuse and build stronger, healthier communities in Brevard County. As our programs grew and our impact expanded, we wanted a name that captures the heart of our mission: lifting up individuals, families, and communities.
We’ve been H.E.R.E. for those we serve — grounded in Hope, Education, Resilience, and Empowerment. These values will continue to guide how we support individuals and communities in making choices that lead away from addiction and toward healthier, more hopeful futures.
While Brevard County remains home, our work is expanding across Florida and beyond as communities seek evidence-informed, prevention-focused partnerships.
